Oh, yes! Mome Raths are among the registered species from the Queen of Hearts' kingdom. Apparently, they'd show the way around to lost people and camouflage as flowers. Nowadays, not only them, but all the creatures described on the list are long extinct, but still have merchandising, like keychain and plushies.

I think Nesta would study historical anthropology or archeology. Unearthing old cultures and understanding how past societies affect current political and cultural issues would be so interesting to her.
