have a very sloppy concept pic for my take on disney persephone.

sweet and kind and eager to explore even though she’s under lock and key by her mom.  runs off to the underworld basically goes excited nerd when hades confronts her.  wants to know how all the soul stuff works.

they have very intwlligent conversations, she points out flaws in all his hostile take over plans, just cause they are holes.

her potted plant she made that can survive in the underworld cause it eats bugs, named Mandi .  short for Mandibular Floris Carniferus.

and Hades, boy howdy it is hard to get him not looking funky.

then again, I’m no masterful artist whom did pink floyd music videos as well.

i also make hades in a last ditch attempt after hercules, cause the ending is “olmypian propaganda”, informs hera that zeus has been a cheater.  and he still gets kicked back to the underworld.  but now hera and zeus are in “marriage counseling”.  

also i totes have my mind set that lizzo is one of the main muses for this story.

How I got my cat!

So this sweet cat wandered into our yard, she was skin and bones, obviously underfed or abandoned. I fed her a can  of tuna because I was shocked on how thin this poor kitty was. Next time I went shopping I bought cat food in case I saw sweet cat. Unfortunately I ended up attracting other cats, including a chunky tortoiseshell cat who I named Chonkers. 

However! The skinny cat finally started to come around more regularly, and I fed her directly over a couple of weeks. Slowly she stuck around more, and would even come inside for a few minutes where she got cuddles and pets. Now she sleeps on my bed, the couch, and follows me around the house, grabs me for pets, meows for food and milk, meows for cuddles, and I guess is MINE now. Or am I hers? 

She might have had an owner but they were not taking care of this sweet thing so kitty is mine now. I named her Sweet Thing, because she is SO SWEET, and affectionate!
