@kaizokugaris asked - leave them to me , just go .
Melody hesitated, heart racing as panic threatened to overtake her. She was no warrior and despite the Devil Fruit she possessed, she disliked using it for fear of hurting innocents. Seas, she was useless, wasn’t she? She needed to learn to defend herself and others; she couldn’t always hope someone stronger was around and willing to help.
Most certainly wouldn’t be willing to do so if they knew what she was.
“I…” she frowned, but finally nodded. “Be careful,” and she was already backing away, senses on high alert. Her words felt pointless, but she couldn’t quite say why. She had no idea who he was, but she just had a feeling that her worry for him was misplaced.
She hesitated only a moment longer before moving to run, heart racing. Too bad not all of their assailants had eyes for him and before Melody realized it someone was attempting to tackle her to the ground. Instinct took control and she stumbled to the side, shock making a growl bubble up past her lips. The action startled her as much as her dodging startled her attacker.
In a blink Melody took her hybrid form and in place of a tiny blonde stood a towering blonde werewolf, teeth bared as she growled, ears flat against her skull. She didn’t know how to fight, but with teeth and claws like hers it couldn’t be all that hard, right?
