Aurora didn’t really understand what precisely it was that Cheryl saw in Jughead, but Aurora supposed it didn’t much matter.  If Cheryl wanted her boy from the wrong-side of the tracks, well, she supposed it saved Aurora the trouble of having to crush her if Cheryl had been foolish enough to pursue Lucien.  And, Aurora supposed, Jughead was quite loyal.  Cheryl deserved that.  Especially after everything that she’d been through of late.  “You know Jughead, it’s a rare man who makes me change my mind.”  she told him with a soft smile.  “And even rarer that I’m wrong.  Shall we spare all of that and just be friends?”

so we have this temp person who is working here since we're so short staffed. and she used to work here in the past.

and she is not only THE LOUDEST human person I've ever fucking met, she just doesn't leave at the end of the day.  she just LINGERS.  like, you're a temp person.  you aren't full time.  you don't need to stay late.  you are not that person.  and you're only staying late because you're fucking CHATTING.

i guess she worked here a couple years ago.  and when she did, there were two other admin people here that were like SO LOUD.  and really chatty with one of the attorneys.  and i don’t understand how anyone could handle that.  like WHAT THE FUCK.  honest to god i will walk out if she gets hired full time.  mainly because she is so loud.  unless i got my own office.  it’s just not necessary to answer the phone AND YELL INTO IT.  LIKE THE ENTIRE OFFICE DOESN’T NEED TO KNOW.  and part of my head injury makes it hard for me to concentrate when there is a lot of background noise, so i have to either go somewhere quiet or i have to wear headphones to tune everything out.  (it’s kind of a too-much-stimulation thing / so much energy is focused on cancelling out the pain that there isn’t any left to concentrate on what i’m doing or listening to people, so when there is a lot of sound hitting me it’s super hard)  and that’s not helpful if i’m supposed to be answering the phones or helping people that come to the front.
