We were running flank drills since the last trial he wanted to take after me and not know the differences of his flanks. Id like him to be more comfortable working wider since his little aussie instincts scream at him to be right up the stocks butt. I tried "tricking" him by working the sheep close to the free standing pen and pressuring him to go out and around it. He sort of got the idea lmao. I love his little "whoops thats a dead end?"

Integral to the profitability of sheep raising is breeding and selling off of unproductive animals, this is even more critical when dealing with rams and males, – simply put they consume more than they could ever bring in and they are by their nature aggressive and counterproductive to a peaceful flock.
