Korean Sheet Mask

Aside from drinking water and relaxing, the easiest way to do something good for your skin without wasting a lot of money is to use a sheet mask. Sheet masks are an excellent introduction to Korean beauty; they only cost a few dollars and take 20 minutes to achieve dewier, glowier  skin.

Sheet masks, like most other beauty trends, originated in South Korea, which is known for its commitment to skincare and cosmetics innovation. The success of Korean skincare routine created an impact around the world including the middle eastern countries.

Korean Sheet masks must be highly durable, and they can be made of a variety of materials, including dense but flexible paper, cellulose, a variety of fabrics, microfibres, and even more environmentally friendly alternatives like coconut pulp and cotton wool. Sheet masks is one of the important factors in 10 steps Korean skincare routine followed by Koreans.

Avajar A-solution mask, Elasticity. 💎Claims: fortify skin elasticity with natural pearl minerals and amino acids. 💎Some ingredients: niacinamide, hydrolyzed pearl, pearl extract, sodium hyaluronate, aloe leaf extract, beta glucan, coconut oil, propolis extract, royal jelly extract, silk extract, adenosine and fragrance. 💎Essence and fit: was a medium consistency essence, not to watery or thick, non sticky and light fragrance. Is a pure cotton mask, fit around my face was great including the nose and eyes. 💎Results: This box comes with 10 masks and I got the Elasticity one. The fit is great around the eyes and nose since is a pure cotton mask it holds up a lot of the liquid but it kept sticking out of my chin, which is something very easy to resolve. The fragrance was light, great for people with allergies (I'm people!); love that it provided a cooling feeling and not only that but non-sticky and very hydrating. Vegan skincare spot!

Natura Potato & Parsley Infused Under Eye Mask.

I love this brand of #vegan masks!

The packet contains three seperate sets of under eye masks which are all packaged individually to stop them drying out.

The material of the under eye masks are a siliconey texture, as opposed to the normal papery texture of a sheet mask.

The potato aims to brighten the under eye and reduce dark circles.

The masks fit great under my eyes and stayed on well for the 20 minutes. Once I peeled them off I did notice that my under eyes looked more full and smooth. The little lines seem to be less prominent, however I wouldnt say my bags had completely disappeared.

I would definitely recommend this product.

Hi! I freaking love this blog it’s helped me so much with explaining what does what. Why do you use sheet masks before moisturizer though? Up until now I was under the impression they went on last to ‘lock in’ all the other goodies you put on your face

Yes sheetmasks do lock things in but once you apply moisturizer few things will penetrate thru the moisturizer if that makes sense. And the serum or essence from a sheet mask won’t get through the moisturizer.

To kinda recap sheetmasks lock in toner, essence, serums etc but not moisturizer so that’s why they go before moisturizer.

Btw when you moisturize afterwards it locks in the juice from sheetmasks so yeah sheetmasks before.
