Hikaru is a human, beta male.
The Black Lion likes him best.
Hikaru is the green thumb of the family, and has quite the exotic plant collection, even when young. The Blades especially like to bring him plants from their travels. By the time he’s an older kid, he has an “ailing plant” area in his room where he nurses sick plants to health. He and Shiro often garden together.
Hikaru is soft spoken but he's not meek; he speaks with certainty and nobility.
He idolizes Kolivan and wants to be just like him when he grows up, right down to the long braid. "Granpa Kool is big and strong! An--and-- he has long hair! And daddy has long hair too! I'm gonna be strong like him and Daddy when I'm older!"
