Going for a walk in a light drizzle was one thing, being caught in the soaked environment of this storm was enough. And Zora was finding themself feeling frustrated as they are navigating the constant downpour.

"I know right? I hate getting caught in these things.." Especially when they weren't prepared for it at all.

They tried to keep their jacket close to them as if that would do anything for them.

Zora blinks and looks into the distance. They do in fact see a bus stop - a bit of a potential reprieve for the two of them.

"I.. I think there is one up ahead. It's just a matter of getting there." The wind and the rain was making for a pretty nasty combo.

"Where the hell are you heading off to?" Shelley asks.

Zora narrows their eyes at Shelley.

"Now why the hell do you care? I thought you had better things to do than to keep tabs on the likes of me."

Of course, there's always someone who occasionally notes their wandering ways. But usually it's a friend or someone they know who cares about them that they would likely confide in.

Confiding in Shelley, legitimately? Seems like an absurd idea.

Zora found this form to be interesting. Although they had heard stories about these kinds of figures, it was another thing to see such an individual so close.

That being said, they were genuinely tentatively intrigued by the nature of that form too.

"Uh.. not a problem really. Just kind of .. noticing everything. How does it feel going out in about?"

They were just genuinely curious about the features and how they all combined to make quite the striking presence.

Rex was covered in ash and the small but gooey remains of the exploding seapig. He opened his eyes slowly, puffing out some soot. Before falling over.

Now, it was just a question of stability. That the results were minimal damage to the populace and the place they dwell within. The important thing was that the work was done, not so much that it was recognized.

But it sure would have been nice. If that place and its people cared as much as it had been cared for.

The vigilante answers joyful as ever as she eyed the stranger. Nah, he didn't looked familiar. At least she is pretty sure she hasn't seen him before. But wasn't he a bit suspicious? Not that it's rare to see someone out in the middle of the night. But usually people didn't linger around near construction sites in the middle of the night.

" But you are also out at zhis hour! So vhat are you? Trouble or a fool~? "

She might as well talk a little. Schatten had been on her way home anyway from a night of failure and no new information gathered. So she wasn't in a rush or had anything better to do. At least for now. Besides, sometimes meeting someone on the street can get more information than one expects.

"Well, where I'm from we would've just identified ourselves as-" she paused as a thought of the wordless concept of her species was sent towards Shelley's mind telepathically, "Though by your classifications we do meet the criteria for mammals and more specifically primates. I'm still investigating whether our similarities to humans are a case of convergent evolution or shared genetic material that had managed to cross planets- Oh! You must be confused because I'm not from earth! I came here from a planet a few solar systems away." She rattled all of that off very quickly.

Shelley is someone Zora definitely has more mixed feelings about. Although they didnt mind running into him now and then, they can't help but think there's more to him that he is not sharing..and they aren't even sure they really want to know about.

"Intelligent, sullen, mission-driven."

The actual nature of that mission well..Z may have some thoughts on that. But they have to keep alert and on guard nevertheless.
