1. If you could attend any university in the United States and the UK, what would it be? Magdalene College, Oxford. Great Lit program, C.S. Lewis taught there, and it's walking distance from the Kilns. But my alma mater, Liberty University, was pretty cool too. 2. Share one interesting fact about your geneology/family history. According to my paternal grandfather, I am distantly related by marriage to Jesse James. 3. Take the last song you listened to. Apply it to BBC Sherlock. Is it sad? (It probably is.) Jean by Oliver. Don't judge. How it applies...hmm.. Well, it's a rather wistful longing love song, and that sums up my Sherlolly feels pretty well. 4. Do you prefer to have short fingernails or longer fingernails? I prefer the look of long, but I'm a nailbiter, so I keep mine too short. 5. Pencils or pens? Depends on what I'm writing. Pens if it's official, pencils if its poetry, and sharpies if it's going to be colorful and creative. 6. Take your two favorite ships. Swap characters. Are they still adorable? Sherlolly and Mary/Matthew. Sherlock/Mary is rather terrifying--but Molly Hooper/Matthew Crawley would five kinds of adorable. 7. Can you sew? Yes. I'm the resident button replacer and hole patcher. I also do embroidery and cross stitch in my spare time. I'm rubbish on a sewing machine though, I do everything by hand.
8. If someone made a movie about your life, who would you want to compose the soundtrack? Ugh... John Williams is the man, and I adore his stuff. His compositions move me to tears with frightening regularity. But I'm not sure my life is epic enough to deserve him. Hans Zimmer's style probably fits my lifestyle more honestly. 9. (Sorry, my questions are becoming shipping activities.) Take your current favorite character from fiction. If you could ship them with any person in history, who would it be? Robin Hood and Scheherazade. Both are 'legend' and it's arguable whether they existed as we know them or not. Both were also concerned with social justice, and would make great partners. 8. What is your least favorite place you’ve ever been? Pushkar. It was right after a camel festival, and the place was overcrowded. I was almost separated from my parents more than once. The press of people was claustrophobic and overwhelming. The spiritual darkness was oppressive. 9. Favorite Christmas tradition? Making wassail with my mom. 10. If you could be in any Shakepeare play, what would it be? Either The Merchant of Venice, or Taming of the Shrew. Kat and Portia are some of my favorite characters. 11. The Lumineers or fun.? Lumineers.
