I'm done reading twin crowns, and I really like it🤭🩷so I kinda couldn't help myself but look at fanarts,and i discovered Alarik is a love interest to wren? (like they were more fanart of him than tor)..i don't know how to feel about it bro was terrible in the first book😭 but I guess you shouldn't judge from the first book 😔

I'm scared to like him actually (cuz I spoiled myself who she ended up with)

Anyway as long as rose and shen end up together I'm happy 🤭🩷

Excited today for Burning Crowns!!! I can’t wait to find out the final conclusion. And most of all, I want Wren and Tor to be endgame😩 I’m a little nervous about that tho :))

Thinking about rereading Twin Crowns because I miss Rose and Wren 😭

a quick review on twin crowns and cursed crowns:

they are very fast books. on the one hand, it's very good because i was able to pick up the reading very easily and the story progresses in a very interesting way. on the other hand, i feel that several scenes lack depth and details that better built later events.

about the characters: i love wren! she's a character who loves very deeply and goes to great lengths for what she loves and believes in, and o really like her spirit. i'm looking forward to seeing how her story with alarik and tor ends, and i don't even know who i'm rooting for in this triangle. i love them both, but i think i'm leaning more towards alarik because i think he suits wren better maybe. however, their construction is SO subpar that you won't really realize until the end of the book that there's something going on. i expected there to be more hints of their attraction, or them being a little less enemies and more lovers, but it doesn't happen. tor was interesting in the first book and has a good build with wren. in the second, he has an appearance that, for me, was a little irrelevant. it doesn't bring them closer and it doesn't push them away.

i really like rose, although she acts entitled the whole book and is a little annoying. i know she was raised to be a queen but she is selfish and spoiled at times. other than that, she is amazing. she is very sweet at the same time that she is very firm in her decisions. her romance with shen is well built in the first book, but because it was VERY fast, i feel that in the second, their relationship was very lukewarm and again, it happened too fast.

i give 4/5 stars to both books because i think the authors could slow down and develop the problems more. the universe is very interesting and is super well built!
