I forget how much I like having days off to just spend with my roommates.

We pretty much got the entire apartment finished and all put together together, then we did a decent amount of grocery shopping, and we finished the day with some grilling and hot tubbing... and subsequently being kicked out of the grill area because it was in the pool area and that closed at 10 and it was 10:30 and we ate our chicken in our apartment. But that was okay.

Even though they make me do silly things like slap guava paste (try it some time, it feels really weird, but kind of in a good way) and then secretly video tape the ridiculous conversations we have (we're probably going to get a youtube channel or something for this crap), days like today make me remember why I love them so much. They keep me humble and human.

It was really nice to have a day to myself (essentially) and to not have to worry about work or boys. Between the two, I've been getting so stressed out lately, my acne has been acting up to a new degree... I needed a cleanse.

Maybe it's not all that nice that That One texted me and I never texted back today, but I don't want to talk to him, so I haven't done it. I took a day to myself. I'll probably take tomorrow too.

My phone is very silent, and for now that's disconcerting, but maybe it'll become a welcome silence.
