How 'bout ENA characters reacting to their s/o falling asleep on them? Lets say your top three, I don't wanna overwork ya!
“And then I hit her with staff just to make her go away, but....[y/n] are you listening to my story..?” The feline entity paused as she noticed that your eyes were closed.
Only a moment ago, she was rambling about the annoying people she’s met--folks who tried to pass through her meadow on their journey to the Great Runas. But since you haven’t responded in a while, only now did she look down to see that you had fallen asleep in her lap.
“Come on, this is no place to rest..” Shepherd huffed in slight annoyance.
Though given how peaceful you seemed, she couldn’t bring herself to disturb your slumber. So she just patted your head lightly, looking around the field of flowers.
A few hourglass dogs trotted by to investigate, but she just kept them at a distance with her staff.
Perhaps you two can afford to take a break every hundred years.
Laying on the gray chalky surface of Moony’s room wasn’t the most pleasant.
But it felt a little more comfortable now that you were resting against her. She had recently gained a more humanoid body after her trip to the Great Runas, though she was still having a hard time adjusting to her new form, so you’ve been helping her get used to it.
“Are you sure you only wished for a new body to be slimmer?” You lightly teased.
“..a-ah..that’s what I told Ena,” she stammered. “But I just wanna be able to hold my partner. Like we're in some cheesy romance flick, ya get me?”
With a chuckle, you held her mitten-like hand as you leaned on her shoulder. “That’s fair. I’m happy your wish came true.”
You felt your eyelids growing heavy. Moony noticed too and blushed, though she made no efforts to wake you up--simply letting you fall asleep against her.
‘Let’s hope Ena doesn’t stumble in here drunk again..’
“Hmm, you seem quite exhausted from our journey today, [y/n]. How about we rest for now?” Ena’s masculine voice chirped as you and her took a seat in her home.
“I’m fine.” Despite that statement, you were already rubbing your eyes from tiredness, and the fact you were leaning against her didn't help matters. “I don’t need sleep.”
“Oh, are you sure? Because--!!” Suddenly you heard a static noise and looked up to see her turn into her sad state, on the verge of tears. “I don’t care if I never sleep again, but..I-I’m just so worried about you!!” She wailed, hugging you tightly. "Please..don't lie t-to me.."
“Okay, I'm sorry.” Feeling guilty about acting so dismissive, you snuggled close to her as she cried. “Thank you for caring so much about me, Ena. I’ll rest for a little while. We both should.” You smiled, seeing that she was starting to calm down.
“You don't mind my stupid, worthless-self being next to you?” She sniffled, staring at you with a tearful blue eye.
After you reassured her it was okay, she was back to normal, smiling as she held you close. "My apologies for that..I am certain that rest will do us both good." She sighed, feeling a bit weary herself. "So sleep well, my dearest.”
