I really love the unaired pilot of Sherlock. Ben looks like he's 20 and he wears jeans. JEANS!!!! And his hair? How can I obsess over his hair? Cannot quite say what is different, but the difference is obvious! And the restaurant scene? I love everything about it.
I love how all the Sherlock blogs are now somewhat ironically reblogging hipster grunge edits with captions like "same" or "mood"
So happy we are all being very normal about the scripts.
My stupid brain decided to remember 'she wasn't supposed to be like that, why is she like that' and 'because you chose her' in this grey Saturday morning.
John trying to find someone the compete opposite of Sherlock but gravitating anyway towards Mary because he's Addicted To A Certain Life Style. And Sherlock reading it all like an open book and realising he's always going to be second choice.
Good morning.
Okay, I just read the most PAINFUL LINE IN A FIC EVER.
“[...]it suddenly occurred to the doctor that his name – John – had been the last word Sherlock Holmes had ever spoken.
Goodbye, John.”
(in ch. 29 of An Innocent Man, by Fangs_Fawn)
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-
*inhales*
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
I don’t ever want to know the contents of John’s letter to Sherlock in TST. Ever.
Instant johncroft prompt in my head after that gifset, oh god.
