Quick Reminder that Sherlock ruined my life
That's all
walked into my living room and saw a white dvd with black text randomly on the table and freaked out for a second
In RS were were learning about this philosopher called John Locke and all that came up in my mind was the word 'Johnlock' why does RS hate me
Apparently someone I know watches sherlock but hasn't seen tfp yet and is a casual so never really saw johnlock or knew about tjlc. But even she thought TST and TLD were kinda weird and ooc And i told her about the BBC's LGB Commission and some of mofftiss' quotes about how they were fixing it and doing it right and then some of the shit they pulled in tfp (not even my interpretation just straight up what happened in the episode) and then moffatt's interview about Molly getting over it and gattis basically saying we're dumb because we're confused and his "RIP" tweet the day after the Orlando shooting and she basically said "damn that's fucked up". And even if you don't ship johnlock or never saw it or ship something else or anything, like that should be the reaction you have
If-IF and that is a huge if- there is another episode how much can they reasonably fix and explain in those 90 minutes? I know after TLD aired a lot of people were worried that TFP couldn't realistically answer all the questions or fill all the plot holes or address all the problems made by TST and still unanswered from HLV and TAB. So how realistic is it to fix the huge mess that was The Fucky Problem on top of all that in 90 minutes?
Another thing I've never understood (but honestly could've really easily missed the answer) was Moriarty's line to Sherlock about him meddling and needing to back off in TGG. Like Moriarty set the cabbie on him in ASiP.... and had nothing overt to do with TBB and then sent him the pips. And then he never gives him the chance to back off because he sends Irene. If you believe @loudest-subtext-in-tv 's M-Theory (which I do, ignoring season 4) or any other moriarty-is-in-psychopath-love-with-sherlock based theory, then that question is answered. But if you don't believe those reasonings then what was the point of that line specifically?
About moffat and johnlock
Guys… the amount of johnlock queerbaiting in moffat writing makes me so angry. I mean, he had showed homophobic behavior before so he really do not believe in Jonhlock he just uses it to keep the fans crazy. And I just hate how he ever uses Mr Hudson, and now Mary, to establish it. Please, I know they do this with Jim as well, but there’s no one saying “oh jim, u need a new plan, he likes u so much…” and that kind of shit. I really like the hug scene, it was tender. If all johnlock queerbaiting was like this, ok let’s move on. But I really hate when the author uses a character to speak what he wants to say. It’s like propaganda…aaaarrrgh
It’s completely irrational that hearing “Oh What A Night” on a stupid commercial makes me feel… things.
