Backstory:

Grulnnear grew up helping his father with merchant work both in and outside Adbar, often making trips to nearby civilizations such as Silverymoon to sell their wares. Grulnnear would later go on to join the military and fought bravely in defending Citadel Adbar against an orc horde. Grulnnear was awarded medals of bravery on the battlefield and brought a lot of honor to the family and his homeland.

On his death bed, Grulnnear’s father was found to be smuggling goods for the Cult of the Dragon, losing the family’s honor in the process. Grulnnear was then exiled from dwarves civilization until he was able to right the wrongs of his father and restore honor to his family name.

Trying to figure out a little more about cell shading - I think I figured out a little bit, anyway. The lower WIP is my initial flats, so’s you can see them.
