Distant? How so? Fury's been keeping me busy with paperwork - though that's equally my fault, while we were off enjoying ourselves I lagged on responsibilities. You know how much I hate it, it's really been taxing, wearing me out by the end of the day. It'll be nice when we finally get back into the field, whenever Fury is done grounding you.

Fury will never be done grounding me. *kisses her forehead* You look tired. Let me clear the dishes and you can get some more sleep.
