Night flight

It's way past midnight when Aloy glides down towards Barren Light.  

She can barely make out the ground, the moonless sky especially dark tonight. 

Her Shieldwing provides gentle illumination from above, still she nearly jumps out of her skin when her feet brush the crown of an unseen tree, scraping her ankle and shin. 

"Ugh!" she mutters and lifts her knees higher to her chest. 

Only a moment later, she curses with every color of the rainbow when she lands ungracefully on bone-dry dirt and grass, falls to her knees, her palms hot with pain where she left skin on rock, then sneezes as a small dust cloud she’s managed to produce rises up and tickles her nose.

“Welcome to Barren Light,” she mumbles, rubbing away the aches in her hands and knees, then chuckles at herself and the clumsy landing.

Still processing my feelings of Horizon Forbidden West, so here is more art!

I tried drawing Aloy in like three of her outfits, they’re all so freakin complicated. Video game outfit designers need to be more considerate of people who want to draw fanart. It’s too much.

I’m going to be making both of these into stickers annnd maybe one of those ferret-looking robot monsters because I think they are absolutely adorable and you can’t tell me otherwise. Stay tuned!
