I notice your shifters have green tongues and green gums- is their blood green? Plssss tell me about tbis im so curious

Yes their blood is green!!

I had the idea to make their insides/blood green awhile back, but also couldn’t choose between whether I preferred green or regular red, so I decided to make it both!

Their blood starts out green when in circulation (or non-oxygenated), but when exposed to open air (or oxygenated) it quickly turns red! That way I could feasibly keep the look of green insides, while also their skin having warmer tones (as having completely green blood would probably make you look sickly).

Tbh it’s totally not scientifically accurate the process of how their body works and looks, but I just like to chalk it up to magic at the end of the day :3

I think the shifter & my guy the target would get along. experimented on dudes that are a bit inhuman. as a treat.

Because Shifter was born with his power, he doesn’t quite see how Target’s predicament is bothering him, but he’s there to help in any way he can! (He’s just not very good at comforting people)
