Hi so my best friend just got into shifting and I'm a little confused and concerned, but I want to be supportive if this is something that will make her happy. Do you have any advice or would you mind explaining what shifting is a little bit? If not that's totally fine, pls don't feel pressured to answer. Have a great night :)
Hi!! I don’t speak for the entire shiftblr community but I’ll try my best to explain! ((Shiftblr community if I get anything wrong PLEASE REBLOG AND CORRECT))
First: no need to be concerned for shifting is 100% safe and nothing bad is going to happen!
Shifting, or Reality Shifting for its full name, is when you literally leave this reality and shift to another! Kind of like going to another universe? So it’s a whole other reality/world that whatever you want can happen! This “new” reality is typically called the Desired Reality.
I understand that’s a HUGE concept to wrap your head around so in simpler terms: you go to an ice cream shop and you don’t know if you want vanilla or chocolate. Of course you have to make a decision so let’s say you pick chocolate. In that moment, there was another reality created in which you picked vanilla! This continues for every choice you make in life, big or small! (Did you get sprinkles as well? Did you get a cone or a cup?)
As for how you shift there are A LOT of methods on how you can! Some people meditate before sleep and focus on shifting and then wake up in their DR (desired reality.) Some people do awake methods, and some people do both! I’m not gonna fully go into ALL the ways and details, but in short it’s meditating and relaxing and letting your body’s “soul” shift from this reality to your DR.
Secondly about her happiness, in my personal experience and my shifting journey, shifting has improved my mental health 100% The main focus of the shifting community it positivity and raising your bodies energy/vibrations. To do that the community encourages eating healthier, drinking water and staying hydrated, general self care, and also just saying positive affirmations to yourself! So there’s really no downside to her practicing shifting! If anything, it will improve her mental health and physical health!
Lastly, for being supportive, even if you don’t truly understand or believe it, just think of shifting as a “type of religion” Be respectful and don’t bash her for it. Listen to her if she needs to talk out something and just be a safe place for her! Shifting can get shit on a lot and there’s a lot of bullies on the internet so just be kind :)
Sorry this was long but it’s hard to explain everything!!! Let me know if you have any specific questions! ❤️
