Conversation between a shifter and a skeptic
For those who don’t know, my fiancé, R, just found out about reality shifting and that I’m a shifter. He’s been very polite and open to discussion about it, but here are a few of his biggest concerns/comments.
PLEASE NOTE: R is very logical and scientific and is very blunt. He’s still polite, but says whatever he thinks and doesn’t just cave into peer pressure (one of the main traits I love about him.) He’s incredibly smart. He definitely leans more towards the skeptic side than believer side.
These are his unfiltered responses (in blue) to our long discussion last night. Please know he is not trying to offend anyone, he just is curious and wants some answers/explanations.
He thinks it could just be another TikTok trend that a bunch of people hopped on and could be lying about. “Sure a large community is saying they shift, but that doesn’t mean they’re telling the truth. They could be! But there’s a percentage that they’re lying.”
He thinks it could just be really vivid lucid dreaming. This is what he believes is most plausible. “I’d be 100% down if you practiced lucid dreaming and unlocked another plane of existence that’s super cool. But actually shifting to another reality? I don’t know if I believe that.”
He read the CIA letter and confirm that it is actually from the CIA archives and isn’t just faked. However, he couldn’t find any follow up to the letter. “Why aren’t people researching this? Why aren’t scientists doing tests about it? Sleep studies etc. If shifting is real this is a HUGE discovery that shouldn’t just be on TikTok or Tumblr.”
He does believe whole heartedly in the multiverse theory! “Yeah that theory has been around for a long time with a lot of research and evidence. That part I’m not questioning.”
He doesn’t like the name “shiftblr” He thinks it’s dumb when people combine two words (I thought this was funny) 🤣 “What the actual fuck? I’m gonna pretend you didn’t say that lmao.” /lighthearted
If anyone has replies or links to PROPER research articles or scientific studies done for shifting, please reply/reblog to this!! I’d love to show him more evidence and recourses!! (Not just the CIA letter)
He may be skeptical but he is 100% open to be proven wrong!
