Shifting won't save you.
Hello, guys! How are you?
I know this is a controversial take (or not, the real controversial thing is the title ig), especially because I feel that the shifting community doesn't really want to fully address much about this kind of topics regarding mental health and spirituality. If it is, some people aren't viewed on a good light for actually talking on it, or it is sugarcoated to the point it isn't raw and authentic (not being pessimistic, just viewing things as they are).
Before anything, this is MY perspective on things that I have experienced surrounding my shifting journey. If it doesn't resonate with you, that is totally fine. I want to be honest here since I am observing that there isn't much movement around these topics on Shiftblr and like any other practice/spiritual activity, we have to be conscious of the real consequences of it. I am being vulnerable in this post, so please absent from harmful comments.
Forgive my english, I am not a native speaker and I am still improving on it. If you see any grammatical errors or words that don't make a lot of sense, tell me in the comments.
These past months have been a huge improvement on my own journey and with this, I have seen a lot of setbacks surrounding my own inner work.
Usually, when we talk about shifting, everyone is excited for what is about to come, and even if it is something dangerous, it is not really taken into account. Shifting is magical and a wonderful experience to live, that is true but- there is more than what we actually talk about.
I know for me, I had an s/o from a series that I truly cherished back in the moment. I spoke a lot about them and I loved them from the bottom of my heart. Last year I was in a cycle of daydreaming and having a lot fantasies with little improvement on my own journey- and that fueled the thought of them, and an idealistic relationship that was evading the truth.
Since this year is the start of Neptune in Aries, things have been moving around a lot and I have polished my own routine, and then I saw things that made a lot difference- after finally putting in the work.
This s/o was a trigger for me to get to understand myself better and to know why our relationship wouldn't work, no matter what I would do for them. Believe me that I have tried to change everything to be with them, and still this person wasn't meant for me. Why? Because the problem laid deeper than just changing realities or manifesting another entire life, it had to do with my own self worth and what I am willing to give to other people.
I suffocated myself only for this person to be avoidant and give me their back. Nothing that I would do would change this person or reality, not even having another kind of relationship with them. And with this, I had to go further in it.
My inner self changed its perspective to know that the focus I was giving to certain realities wasn't what I wanted to experience. I didn't want suffering, changing from pain and heavy traumatic experiences than I already have, and I discovered what kind of person I am turning to be thanks to that. I even have changed my way of seeing shifting. Right at the current moment it is a hobby that I am working for and it has given me more results than trying to escape and creating resistance.
What am I trying to say with this? Even if we shift and "escape" this so called horrible reality we are "trapped" into, you have to still face your fears, your insecurities, your own shadow, parts of your ego, etc. No matter where you go, these things will keep chasing you until you face them. Don't lie to yourself, because the problem will get bigger and the longer you push it back, the harder it will become.
Sometimes we forget that it is not only "shift to another reality where this person is like this to you", it is more that they are their own person and have challenges and a life to live up to, and possibly your presence will trigger them to grow, but that doesn't mean they are the one you should stay with.
I am still discovering parts of myself thanks to what shifting has given me, and I am really grateful for all of it. I hope this doesn't come as me being hateful or telling others to not go to their desired realities- you are limitless and can create anything that brings you joy- just be careful with what you choose and why you choose it.
