⭐- What’s a scene/paragraph you’re proud of?
Ooh this is a tough one but I think I’m going to say the pond scene from chapter 13 of Reign. It was really the scene the entire story was built around and despite the fact that it was The Scene TM i really like the way it turned out. (I’d also say the same about Riza confronting Roy in chapter 10 of Sovereign)
⛰️- What was the hardest part?
Probably not posting Reign as I was writing it. While many scenes were added or switched around after the fact, it was the first full length I tried to get the backbone of down before posting the first chapter and it KILLED me. Helped the update schedule move along nicely. For anyone who reads Sovereign (which aside from a basic outline I’m writing as I’m going) the length between chapters is significantly increased (whoops)
✏️-Would you go back and change anything if you could?
Ooh interesting question. To be honest, before bulk of Sovereign was planned out Reign was going to have a completely different ending (mainly a lot of the bigger plot stuff I’m putting into Sovereign) so sometimes I like to think about what would have happened if I had continued Reign for another 5-10 chapters and totally altered the ending. But, tbh, now that I know how I’m going to end Sovereign, I like this route a lot better :)
