Damn !!!
Why the hell can't they just shikandini fight just as she is!! Shakuni says that men shouldn't attack women even if the latter tries to do so, that women are present as mother, wife, daughter, daughter in law etc (WTF !!!!) . Shikandini rightly points out that there's no reason to bring dharma into the argument when she herself gives everyone the right to attack at her ( Go girl power!! Jai amba/shikandini !! *whistles* *cheers* ) ,but is shushed by yudhishtir and tells her that she can't take part ; shakuni slyly remarks to duryodhan that yudishtir 's dharma will make him win.
Mahabharath's fierce women -Part 2
I couldn't make a gif out of this ,soo..........
Make sure to check this video out from 8:00 minutes -till - 13:08 minutes ;) !
I have always looked up to amba as a courageous woman - who was ready to do anything for her cause and to quench her thirst for revenge.
Before any event where i'd be required to prove myself or get somethin' i need a lot - i used to read articles and see videos about her and her story ; and remarkably- i've always succeeded in proving myself or gettin' wat i wanted after dis.
This episode has been one of my favs , 'coz- amba/shikandini isn't scared to argue against the great bheeshma . She is undetered in making him realise his mistake and how his love for his family and the throne ,destroyed his empathy towards others' choices. Also, she is not scared to give him his punishment and her verdict .
[ PS - sorry for the long post tho ;) got taken away by ancient indian feminism :) ]
Sorry for not updating !!!!!
had some shit to sort , anyways ,todays mahabharat episode with a fierce as hell draupadi has got me on my toes and excited for the 'draupadi vastraharan'.
i admire how she had the guts to storm in and protest , while bravely reminding duryodhan and dhrithrashtra that she was an empress and did not have the necessity to obey anyone
also, waiting desperately for some amba/ shikandini fierce drama
kudos;) do inbox me!
