“Hey guys?” Ann’s voice cut through the long silence the group was sharing just moments earlier. “Is it wrong of me to miss that whole ‘utopia’ Maruki invented a bit?”
“Why would you miss that?” Ryuji asked. “It was screwed up. Took away everything that made us who we are!”
“I know, I know but...” A small sigh escaped Ann as she recalled the time she spent with Shiho during that time. “I’d never seen Shiho so happy. Part of me wants to go back just so I can see her again...”
“I know what you mean,” Futaba agreed. “I get the same way. Sure it wasn’t right, but being with Mom again sometimes feels more important than what’s right or wrong.”
“Father and I were so happy together during that time...” Haru sighed.
“I know how you all feel, and I won’t lie and say I haven’t had similar feelings,” Makoto said. “But isn’t it more important we use our hardships to grow as people?”
“Of course...” Sumire said softly. “As much as it hurt to accept, I know now that I’m much happier being myself.”
“Still, I think we can all agree that the world Maruki made for us feels rather tempting at times,” Yusuke continued.
With that, the group sat in silence, each reflecting on the appeal of the so-called utopia.

“Fre, why did you stop- ow!” Shiki yelped as her girlfriend pulled her hair a bit. “I-is this really the time for-”
“That’s not why I pulled!” Frederica complained. “M-my hand is stuck!” Sure enough, her hand got tangled in the mess of Shiki’s hair.
“Well, get it unstuck!” The messy-hair girl cried. “It huuuurts...”
In the end, the two had to go to Chihiro to get the mess untangled.
