I haven't seen the show yet, but enough with trying to prove himself the world's ultimate Morgan stan. Lennie seems like a great guy and he's a talented actor, yes. But c'mon.

YEP. I have nothing against Lennie, and from watching TWD, I know he’s a total sweetheart. But one of the things I adore most about Fear is that it allows a middle-aged woman to be the leader, to make the hard choices, to evolve into a force to be reckoned with, to play the role that usually falls to a man in these kinds of shows. I mean, Madison was the focal point of the season 4 poster: how many other major sci-fi shows can say the same for their "older” female characters? Madison, and the position she has in the show’s narrative and hierarchy, is important. 

If Morgan crossing over to Fear has fucked with that, or erased it completely...I would have to think long and hard about continuing. 

And I would find a level of bitterness toward Gimple I never knew I had.

So. For the fanfic thing. Would you ever consider writing or co-writing an alternate season 3 or 4 TWD story and fixing what TIIC have done so wrong in regards to the show? Season 5 even. With emphasis on Caryl, of course. What I mean is picking a point when the storylines on the show still had potential for all of the characters, not just Caryl, and picking a different path than the show actually did? I'm probably botching this whole ask, lol, and not making any sense at all.

Shimmershae: An addendum to that last ask--basically pretend you were the showrunner.  I know that's what we do every time we write FF, but take it a step further and give us an alternate season 3, 4, 5, or whatever that we can pretend happened instead of what actually has, lol.    

Thanks for the ask! :D I think everyone has probably thought about trying to re-write the show in fic ;) I certainly have, but I likely never will try since I don’t have much desire to write the other characters. Plus, ensemble writing is tough stuff ya’ll and probably way out of my skillset.

It might be really fun to try and redo everything from after the fall of the prison, for example. But I would no doubt suck at it since I’d just focus on caryl and everyone else would fall by the wayside. I have a one track mind ;)

Not to mention, I have no idea where I’d want the show to go if given the choice from say season four on. I know what I don’t like, but replacing that with something else would be a challenge.

It probably wouldn’t make very good tv or very good fic, to be honest, lol.

My options would be pretty boring. Go back to the prison, and take it back.

Go back to the farm, which was likely not overrun anymore, and stay there.

Pick an overall goal, like finding out IF there really is anything in DC and checking that out. (probably the most exciting option of the three)

But it would all just devolve into a giant caryl fic either way. :P

Abby Griffin x Marcus Kane from the 100, Dana Scully x Fox Mulder from TXF, Laura Roslin x William Adama from Battlestar Galactica. You did say any fandom, lol. I don't even know if you watch these shows. Just curious. I mean, even if you don't watch, do you think you could actually ship them?

i stopped watching the100 after the second season but i like them together and kinda ship it without being invested in it too much. mulder and scully is and endless classic otp, i should rewatch the show at some point it‘s been years. and i never ever have watched bg so i have no idea who they even are oops.
