poor old pierrot
deep down in my heart, there's a tiny version of me wearing white makeup and dressed in all black, so when i discovered kitsuné maison had once released someone's cover of siouxsie and the banshee's "happy house" i was jumping for joy.
to my surprise though, i found that something released on kitsuné before the later half of the 2010s could actually suck. the vocals are nice but that chiming steel drum puts me off, reminds me too much of all that commercial tropical house rubbish. yuck.
thankfully though, midnight savari is here to save the day and introduces some lovely electro funk into what would otherwise be a disappointment (sorry shindu).
