I want to preface this post by saying this is NOT intended as a “fat shaming” post. I have always struggle with my weight. I thought it was good to share because I have never thought about it from this perspective and the impact obesity has on the inside of the body was absolutely eye-opening to me (I know what it does, but never really thought about it). We can easily see the outward effects of obesity, but not the inward ones. ******************* This image shows a 250 lb woman on the left and a 120 lb woman on the right. We can see weight gain from the outside, but we usually can't see what is going on from the inside. Shocking, right? Look at the fat surrounding the organs in the woman on the left. Notice the fat around her heart and her brain. Do you see the compression around the stomach and internal organs which can definitely contribute to GERD/Reflux and indigestion? Now, look at the compressed knee joints and imagine the added pressure and weight being placed on them. It’s hard to deny the effects of obesity when you can actually see the impact. If I wasn’t already motivated to be heathy, this sure would help. I want to be healthy so I can do things with and be around for my kids/family. 1 - favorite candle scent: JASMINE! or rose! literally anything jasmine or rose scented and i'm head over heels. all of my shower products (except one of my shampoos) are either strongly jasmine or strongly rose. i have two different rose perfumes and one really strong jasmine perfume and one that's just got jasmine in it as a note. yeah i'm obsessed things are fine. 2 - what female celeb do you wish was your sister?: oohhh this is hard. is it bad to say lil henstridge so i can be close to chloe bennet? probably. idk, probably someone chill and nerdy like amber benson or ming-na wen. 14 - favorite tv show as a child: i don't remember, i have actually the worst memory of my childhood. probably batman the animated series, i loved that show. 46 - what flavor tea do you enjoy: hey guess what the answer is jasmine again. oops. sorry not sorry. but i also really like sencha and basically just green tea iced with milk <3 <3 and black tea i like orangey and fruity earl grays. and hot. with lots and milk and sugar. i also like plain black teas. i don't really like chai or oolong or white teas or plain rooibos or lemon in my tea. i like a lot of tea but i'm very particular about those teas. http://areyouarealmonster.tumblr.com/post/102149914574/50-questions-youve-never-been-asked
