I know that you were not a VK band from the start, so I would like to hear about you joining the scene...?
Kuga: I liked VK, or maybe should I say bands that perform wearing make up, from the beginning. It's just that when we started the band, the VK scene wasn't really to mi liking, or maybe it just wasn't what I imagined, so I thought if it's like that, let's play in rock live houses for the time being. But at that time, playing at rock live houses and wearing make up, there were of course reactions like "They're VK, right?", "Why do they play here?". So when it came to this, I thought it'd be okay to change VK, since we were already put into the scene I didn't like that much.

What are the origins of your name?
Wataru: Because he really likes "Rocky horror show", hahaha... Kuga: There's a character called "Riff Raff", and I though that's kind of cool. So we decided to call ourselves "Riff Raff". But then, when I got on the stage for the first time, I wanted to say "Nice to meet you, we're Riff Raff", but somehow I ended up saying "We're Liphlich". I made a mistake :D So after we decided to stick with that, and we found a way of spelling that can't be found in any dictionary. There's really no special meaning to it. It's just a postscript.
