I’m sorry. I don’t know what to do with myself.

I’m seriously so devastated by our loss. I can’t stop thinking about it, how alone he must have felt, how much like a failure he must have thought he was, how low his opinion of himself must have been to drive himself to do this. It’s so heartbreaking; his letter is so heartbreaking and his last texts are haunting. No one should ever be put in a position to feel that way about themselves, to let those thoughts and feelings define them. 

I’m at such a loss. I want to make it better, but I don’t know what to do. I keep thinking I should try to cheer myself up by looking at happy kpop stuff, but it doesn’t feel right to try and smile, knowing that a life has been lost. 

Please let this be the thing that brings awareness, that makes people understand that mental illness is a very, very real thing and should be addressed with serious care and attention. Please don’t let this happen to any other person again.
