Been getting kind of into Shinmota/Momoguji lately, I don't even know why, I'm not too into Kaito, but it's just something about his dynamic with Kiyo...

Anyways...

Thinking of a normal School AU where they're in P.E. class. Kaito knocks into Kiyo accidentally, causing him to get injured, (nothing too serious, maybe a twisted ankle or some nosebleed.)

Kiyo's aware it wasn't Kaito's intention and he isn't mad, but Kokichi keeps telling Kaito things like "Oooh, I'd be shitting my pants if I were you Momota, he's probably plotting to curse you!! I'm sure he's calling his ghost buddies later!!"

And Kaito is obviously annoyed and won't fall for his lies... Buuut he is conveniently nicer towards Kiyo throughout the week, holding open doors for him and offering to carry his books...

thinking abt that one kiyo line in chapter 3 where he tells Kaito that “things feel amiss without your boisterous voice” or whatever and now my autistic little momoguji brain is whirring to life-

Kiyo likes listening to Kaito’s voice…….he loves listening to Kaito infodump because, not only does he love it when Kaito’s excited about things, but also he just finds Momota’s voice nice and soothing and altogether lovely, no matter how loud……….it makes him feel safe. he could fall asleep to it.
