I disagree with the placement of Adventurier on that side of the spectrum. He might be drawn “crazy” but since he is a direct adaptation of the original, he should be put everywhere.

Aventurier, Mystery Classics and VS Lupin are all pretty accurate adaptations but they’re still on different parts of the chart according to which vibe they lean more towards — and for me, the very “manic” visual aspect of Aventurier counts!

There is a recent modern-set Lupin series with Omar Sy in the title role. Didn't seem to fare well with critics though.
[ Yes, I’ve seen the teaser and I’ve been aware of it for awhile! Although to my knowledge it’s not out yet? I thought the the release was set for 2021- correct me if I’m wrong on that.
From the description and the title at the end of the teaser video though, it looks like it’s going to be more of a Lupin III-type of adaptation. It seems to me that the character Omar Sy is playing is a separate character from the original Lupin. ]

shinichi ran or hattori shinichi cause he IS the main character ran cause she is one of the main characters and has an interesting pov hattori cause he’s my favorite
