Just Caught a Shiny Cottonee!

IM SOBBING THIS ONE I ACTUALLY GOT MYSELF, THIS IS MY SECOND TIME EVER GETTING A SHINY POKÉMON MYSELF!!! WITH THE SHINY CHARM IT ONLY TOOK ME LIKE 53 ENCOUNTERS

three new shinies, my phone died so i didn’t get the normal photos but this works. Cottonee was named Mango, Cleffa was named Kathy after my late nana, and Appletun was named Verdi. I love them.

Another shiny for my collection, after chain of 60 something this little girl showed up. My little shiny fluffy girl.

The other day I caught my first ever shiny Pokemon aside from a certain gyarados Cottonee!! I named her Essa!! I’m so happy it was a Pokemon line that i actually love, with really nice shiny colors too!

Here are the answers I was given:

Aesthetic: My blog contains a lot of my general aesthetic: pastels, sunsets, clouds, nature, and a general soft vibe.

Why did I pick shiny Cottonee?

Shininess is not me picking favorites/showing bias. Since conjxnct​ liked yellow, it felt like a logical step to pick the shiny version.

conjxnct​ likes grass types. I do not necessarily pick PokeSonas of the requester’s favorite type, but I do let this information guide me.

Speaking of, gravitating towards nature makes picking a grass type make sense.

Soft? Cottonee is literally made of cotton. Sounds pretty soft to me!

Clouds? Well, Cottonee isn’t exactly a cloud, but some of its Pokedex do say they sometimes gather in groups and end up looking like a cloud...

conjxnct likes pastels. Cottonee’s color scheme is soft and light

Whimsicott gives me outgoing, social vibes. Cottonee looks more... I dunno, quiet? Restrained? Maybe it’s the cotton covering the mouth. But even though Cottonee would still be friendly like Whimsicott, it would be shyer and more cautious
