     “Shinsou!”  Mina’s voice, loud and boisterous as always, called down the hall as she spotted the other.  Classes had just gotten out, and she’d intended to head out and get some snacks before returning to the dorms… But she also wanted to talk to the fluffy-haired potential friend.  Waving excitedly and bouncing on her heels, she tried to get his attention.  “Hey, hold up a sec!  Stay right there!”

     Ducking her head back into the 1-A classroom, she snatched up her bag and said a quick farewell to her classmates.  With that done, she booked it down the hall.  For a moment it looked like she might’ve been aiming to crash into Shinsou, before coming to a sudden stop.  Closing her eyes, smiling widely, she started up again.  “I didn’t get to talk to ya much after the training stuff- you were super cool in that fight!  With the mask and the capture weapon!  You were like- like-”  She squinted, tilting her head a bit as she thought.  “Liiiiiike… A ninja!  You were a modern day ninja out there!”

     “You’ve gotta show me some of those moves, yeah?  I’ll treat you to lunch in exchange!  Whatcha say?”

He’s quiet for a moment, studying the other boy’s face. “Even if you did, that doesn’t mean you can’t fix it...” he eventually said, fingers twitching to reach out and touch Shinsou in some way to comfort him. 

His hand stays steadily by his side, unsure how welcome his touch would be, but he quietly adds, “I’ll help you if you’d like.”

“Oh, it’s been a while since you visited Shinsou-kun. I hope you haven’t been picking on my brother too much,” he said, arms folding with a stern gaze that was quickly replaced with a friendly and relaxed smile. 

“Though if he lectures you just as much as he lectures me, he probably deserves it a little, huh?” he added, placing his hand on the side of his mouth as if he was telling Shinsou a secret.

     “ do you want to try holding him?” yoromeki wasn’t the type to really enjoy being cradled - at least, not for long and not by a lot of people. but the way the rabbit seemed to enjoy the other’s company already gave izuku a sense of confidence; it was his first time meeting yoromeki but he’d even let the other pet him! “ he’s sweet, but i’d do it sitting down... that way if he wants to hop down it’s not as awkward, or as scary, i guess... just be really slow about it and if he struggles, let him down. i think he likes you though! you’re lucky!”
