About Teruma's performance in Sannan hen
So today, I was watching the backstage video of Sannan hen, and the camera quality is so, so much better than the previous backstage videos.
In one part, Teruma was giving an interview about his interpretation of Sannan and interestingly, he said that he thought that for Sannan, rasetsu was more important than Chizuru.
I always think that Teruma's romantic performance was rather lacking, especially in comparison with Shion Aoki's Chizuru, whose facial expressions and actions all showed the fact she was desperately and madly in love with him. Teruma's Sannan seemed kinda like he was touched by her love, overwhelmed by it and ended up succumbing to it.
At first, I wondered whether he was just not used to portraying love on stage, but I guess, after what he said in the backstage video, this was an intentional decision.
