Scissor Seven is a fandom so tiny that english ship names don't exist yet. We just say "character x character," which is lame. Here are my ship name ideas:

if you’re curious, the shark is commonly referred to as a bonnet head shark :] I would have put the genus name too but that would have been too long. Did you know that tiburo comes from the Spanish word for shark: tiburón ? Kinda neat

Why Nott?

Ok the title doesn't mean anything. It's just a hint to show that this article is Theodore Nott related. I am doing the latest chapter of "Pansy Parkinson's Parlour for Sexually Uninhibited Witches and Wizards" which will feature more Theodore Nott/Ginny Weasley/Harry Potter. Given that it only has two fics on Ao3 and is therefore a super rare pair it has no ship name. Vote below on what to call this ship:

You're the one who named Shadowcoding and Tintedleneses right? How'd you come up with these crackship names? They're different from the other ship names in the fandom.

Yup! Though TintedLenses is just one of the names for MacaqueTang, it also goes by HibiscusTea.

I think the only thing that really makes them different is that they're not based on food? I almost just named MacaqueTang FreeShadow or ShadowTea because of FreeNoodles and PeachTea, but I just wanted something more memorable for my own brain. I tried just mashing their names together but MacTang and MacSyn only works in the fandoms where Macaque is Macaque and not Liu’Er Mihou. Same applies to other ships, in addition to possible incredibly awkward cutoffs of their Chinese language version names which feel wrong to use.

TintedLenses' logic path went "shadows, glasses, shadows tint lenses like sunglasses, sunglasses have tinted lenses, oh there it is!" which was kind of easy. (Actually, thinking back on it I don’t think I even thought of ShadowTea or something like that until way after.... huh)

ShadowCoding is a little different. I tried to just follow the basic naming convention of Macaque ships having shadow in them and then find a word for Syntax. These matched well together and part way through writing a fill for them I stopped and wondered "wait, maybe I should see if this is a real life term just in case".

Turns out shadow code is a real thing when programmers add code to a program that isn't supposed to be there. Considering this ship started for me in the Spider Monkie AU where Syntax helps Macaque get more powerful by turning him into a spider demon hybrid it fit ridiculously well! Now it's branched out outside the AU and I feel it still works.

There are still crackships I write or will write that need names the usual naming conventions don't feel like they work for though. TangSyntaxPigsy for an AU I am writing based on a headcanon that Syntax is an old college buddy of theirs, I don't know if MacaqueSandy has a name, I want to do something with TangSyntaxMacaque... SyntaxMacaqueOCWhoIsNotRevealedYet...

Ironically, outside of the Transformers fandom I was not really a shipper before Monkie Kid. Now most of the stuff I write is ship. I don't know what happened to me. I went years watching anime and C/K dramas with no desire to ship outside of the passing fic read and now I'm here.

I want to go through and give each ship a title, like in the Danny Phantom Fandom where Danny/Sam is Amethyst Ocean. It will have every possible ship, sorted in a chart on Google docs , starting from something as tame as Star Prince/Snack (Sirius/Severus) or WolfStar (Sirius/Remus) to as outlandish and rare (or rather infamous) as Sorted Socks (Dobby/the sorting hat). I have decided to start working in this now.
