A moment passed, with the two of them just sitting in silence, looking at each other. Achilles watched Ricky, could see him thinking about something from the way he bit the inside of his cheek.

Then he asked, "How do you say love?"

"Sarang," Achilles replied easily. Thoughtlessly, he added, "And I love you is saranghae."

He didn't have the time or the energy to unpack why he could say it so easily to Ricky when saying it to anyone else made him want to crawl out of his skin.

"Ser-ang-hey," Ricky repeated and even though his pronunciation was terrible it still made Achilles' heart flutter.

"That was bad," he said, scrunching his nose to hopefully hide what felt like a very obvious blush.

Ricky shrugged. "But it made you smile so it was worth it."

"Lahey!" Baby called, surprising himself. He hated the way his mouth moved faster than his brain.

Isaac stopped at the top of the steps and turned to face him. "Yeah, Song?"

"Uh, try not to die, okay?" Baby offered, weakly. As much as he hated to admit it to himself, he would miss Isaac a lot if something happened. There would be no one else to argue with if he died.

Isaac smiled in a surprised sort of way, mouth curling up slowly. "Yeah, uh, okay."

"You still owe me lunch," Baby added, jokingly.
