Of Sleepy mornings and Mischief.
He thought he heard the sound of his bedroom door opening and closing, but in Spencer’s current state, he paid it no mind. It was a habit of his to leave the door unlocked, and if the intruder was intent on causing Spencer harm, Heimdall would snap into action. With no barking from the dog, Spencer started slipping back into slumber, deciding that this intruder wasn’t worth his time. That is, until said intruder straddled him. Letting out a small groan, Spencer tossed his head to the side. “Nooo…..’m….sleep…..” Even to his sleepy mind, the protest didn’t make any sense, but it was hard to focus on speaking when his mind and body desperately wanted to not be awake. The slurred objection was met with a lilting giggle. “Oh Spencer….are you going to be lazy all day or are you going to get up and spend time with me?” The words filtered through his consciousness, forcing him to actually wake up even more. Now, he cracked an eye open to put a face to the familiar sounding voice: Lily. “I was sleepin’,” he whined softly. “What d’ya need?” His eye closed again. Not that he wanted her to go away, of course. He rather enjoyed having her around. “I’m bored, and causing trouble and pissing people off isn’t fun without a partner, and I pick you.” She shifted her weight so she could lean forward to kiss him. Lily left light, teasing kisses along his jawline, causing Spencer to grumble irritably as he tried to push her away, but that only served to amuse her even more. “What if I don’t wanna?” He challenged. “Bed’s too comfy, an’ besides, you’re on top." "For one, you like me here, and for two, I like me here. You almost never sleep on your back, so this was a perfect chance for me to wake you up properly.” Spencer let out a sigh, almost ready to give in. However, he was still far too sleepy to really move. “What time is it?” He asked. If it was late enough in the day, he’d get up. “Nine.” Spencer could almost see her victorious smirk through his closed eyelids as she responded. “Screw that, I ain’t gettin’ up.” He again tried to push her off so he could roll to his side, at least. Lily still didn’t want to budge, apparently. She again leaned forward, pressing her lips to his ear. “What if I told you I brought candy?” This got Spencer’s attention, and he opened his eyes to stare at her. “I want some. Gimme.” He could play this game too. However, he was suddenly met with an irritated huff and a light smack on the shoulder. “You’ll get up for candy, but you won’t get up for me? You jerk.” She crossed her arms and glowered down at him. “Well fine, if y'gonna be like that, I ain’t gettin’ up at all. S'too early, besides.” Spencer yawned loudly and pointedly, again trying to push her off. This time, Lily gave in, though she stretched her body out next to him. This allowed Spencer to finally roll to his side, facing away from her as if to make a point. Her body heat made things far more comfortable than he anticipated, and with Lily resting her chin on his shoulder, and lightly caressing his arm, he found himself starting to drift off again. This was rather nice. At least, until she forced him onto his back and straddled him again. “No, you’re not going back to sleep on me. There are people to bother and things to do.” “Gaahhh…..” Spencer mumbled, stifling a yawn. “…’m tired though, an’ I dunno ‘bout movin’…” “What would it take to get you to get up? Do I have to drag you out of bed? Because I can.” “Nooo, no draggin’. S'not fair, I can’t fight back.” He watched her through half-lidded eyes, wondering how much strength he even had right now. Not much, since Lily had been easily able to maintain her position on top of him. Were he more awake, Spencer could easily push her off. “That’s the point. You’re too weak right now, so I can do whatever I want to you, and there’s nothing you can do about it.” She wiggled her hips with a giggle, which had Spencer reaching out to grab her with a frustrated growl. “You mind? You’re sittin’ on my bladder.” “Aw, does someone need to go use the restroom?” Lily adopted a mock pout. “Does the big tough sleepy Spencer need to get up for something?” “Shh, too tired. I don’t wanna do anythin’ right now.” He tossed his head to the side and stared blankly at the wall. “Not even with me?” Lily bent forward and pinned his shoulders down. “Aw, and here I thought things between us were going so well." "Nope, 'specially not with you. I ain’t buyin’ what you’re sellin’.” Lily just sighed and gripped Spencer’s chin and pulled, forcing him to look back up at her. “See, I know you’re lying.” “I ain’t. I don’t want anythin’-” He was cut off when Lily bent over and nibbled on his ear. “You can’t get enough of me,” she hissed. “You know you want all of me, mischief included.” Well, when Lily pulled that, it was really hard to say no. His response was to kiss her. The kiss was returned with a loving tenderness that only Lily could give, with her snaking her hands around to the back of his neck and using that contact to pull him up into her. He broke the kiss seconds later by turning his head to the side. “I knew you were lyin’ about 'da candy,” he grumbled. Lily let his head collapse back onto the pillow. “You are such a jerk!” She sat upright with another quiet huff. “Are you getting up or not?” “Yeah, yeah…” He yawned again, rubbing his face with one hand while using the other to push himself upright. Satisfied, Lily slid off of him and waited for Spencer to actually wake up. From down the hall though, came the sound of frustrated screaming. and Spencer thought he heard his name being called. Frowning, he titled his head to listen while turning his gaze back to Lily. “Is that Eliza?” he asked. “Probably.” She shrugged, not seeming to care. She had turned her attention toward Heimdall, watching the dog chase a tennis ball around the room. “Why’s she screamin’ my name?” Spencer could hear the yelling getting louder; it sounded like Eliza was heading toward Spencer’s room. “Oh.” Lily rolled her eyes upward as she grinned. “I may have left a surprise outside her door while on my way here. I don’t remember details, but it may or may not involve mud. Or feces. I’m guessing she finally found it.” “An’ I’m gettin’ yelled at because…” Spencer had a bad feeling he already knew the answer. The expression on Lily’s face face all but confirmed it “I signed your name on her door.." Spencer flopped back down and groaned loudly. Today was going to be wonderful.
