Phil was already dumping a large bag at Archie’s feet, contents spilling out. “Okay, well, I started off simple,” he said. "Some clothes, a sticker pack....”
He rifled through the bag a bit, before grinning widely. “Foreign drinks. Non-alcoholic, but c’mon, who doesn’t want soda from another country?”

“Yea, Kiddo, it’s nice ta have ya back.” The Sniper admitted with a smile as he stepped up to Spencer. Allowing him to rest his head as his other hand came up to pat him.
“I figured she’d been given ya the runaround. I thought about lookin’ yer ya myself, but I felt like I would’a just gotten in the way if I did actually manage to find ya.” He continued to pat Spencer on the head with a sigh. “ Could have at least warned me, I would’a thrown ya a party or somethin’…”
“Couldn’t,” Spencer muttered, letting out a sigh. “Orders, y’know? Couldn’t risk gettin’ compromised or caught, or whatever. At least we’re back now.”
The idea of a party sounded nice, but Spencer wasn’t all that sure he was up for one. Honeslty, more than anything he just wanted to hole up in his room, completely alone and not talk to anyone for a few days. He wasn’t going to actually get that anytime soon, so at least talking with his old friends was the next best thing.
“What about you, Snipes? What’ve you been up to lately?”

Mick shifted his weight to one side and chuckled. “That’s one hell of a greeting. Spence. N’ here I thought when we saw each other again you’d be runnin’ into my arms.” He chuckles and pulls out a smoke, lighting it for himself before taking a hit.
“Where ya been kid, ya went completely off radar fer a while.”
“Everywhere.” Spencer let out a heavy sigh as he leaned in to Mick. “Helen’s been keepin’ the lot of us busy. It’s been way too long since I had me a break.” Truthfully, even though he could hide it, Spencer was far more worn down than he was showing to Mick. “It’s honestly good t’ be back, even though I ain’t sure for how long.”

“Haven’t seen you in awhile,” Spencer said, flicking aside a splinter. “Figured I’d come by an’ see what th’ old crew’s been up to.”
I said months ago I’d probably come back and nothing ever came of it.
I’m rebooting another oc of mine, and with that, I feel I could sorta reboot this blog.
I’m converting it to a solely Team Echelon blog, so anyone that’s not Spencer and Phil is getting dropped, and bios are going to be re-written, tags are going to be redone, and basically just a blog overhaul so I can revive Echelon proper.
This is not going to be my main blog, and appearances here are going to be sporadic at best. My main blog is still over @bheithann, that’s where I’m most active, and that’s not going to change for a long while.
I’m -selectively- going to throw out starters. Length may vary.
To explain my absence, I’m going to say Spencer and Phil were on a top secret mission in another country. Something something involving dangerous espionage that goes above and beyond Fortress.
Maybe it involved Wakanda, I don’t even know. Helen has her fingers in literally everything.

Over the past year, they were silent. They pretended like nothing was up. Each day was spent waking up, going to battle over gravel, and then ending the day with a shower and a dinner. After their evening meal, however, that’s when the former RED and BLU scouts traveled away, sneaking off base and heading away for half the night.
What they did away was a mystery to everyone but them. What they were actually doing was rebuilding a dumpster of a base from scratch; transforming it from an empty, barely standing team base to one that was slowly being filled with active technology, all by Spencer’s hand. It took a long time, but Spencer and Phil designed and built a large obstacle course and training ground, built to test them on their agility (speed, endurance, balance, etc.)
They’ve designed their entire team around stealth and recon work, loosely working with other teams as far as Intel and weaponry/technology goes. The former scouts brought in a couple of other people they trust, such as Duran and Lily, because their knowledge and experience with spy technology would prove insanely useful to further the development of the team.
They decided to keep the name of Echelon, though they’ve coined the subtitle of Rapid Recovery, as it more fits with the overall theme they’ve come up with, and the team mostly consists former scouts.
Team Echelon: Rapid Recover has no specific classes to divide themselves by, as they all have the same role. They probably still refer to themselves by their former class titles, as it’d make the most sense, since they’re doing scouting work.
Team Echelon was a failing group of older mercenaries who had no direction, and is now emerging as a younger, more professional group of scouts, and they are skilled in agility and the ability to remain undetected, and Spencer and Phil are proud to head their new mercenary team.
TEAM ECHELON
Formerly a small group of hired mercenaries under Helen’s control. Former Echelon had nothing to do, and sat idle. Now months later, is under the control of former Fortress scouts, Spencer (RED) and Phil (BLU). They’ve shifted the focus from typical hired mercenaries to a team focus on athletics and acrobats, with speed being a key factor.
Their aim is to self defend and dodge any incoming attacks, while practicing aiming a weapon while parkouring. Team Echelon has obstacle courses designed to help them train these specific skills. While they still like ambling over to Fortress and participating in daily battles, it’s more of a casual training to keep their weapon skills sharp.
They work loosely with Citadel for weaponry/robots for use as target practice so they can better hone their skills and practice dodging/parkouring out of the line of fire. They want to remain as sharp as possible.
Echelon has their own base not too far off from Fortress bases. It’s not designed like a typical base, as there’s only one general building there, as opposed to two sides. It’s a large base though, with an obstacle course taking up the majority of the base. It’s filled with traps, sentries as well as some other various bits of technology that’s all controlled with a few switches inside their base.
Inside the base, however, is not very big. There’s not much too it, other than a main lobby, a few offices for whenever the administrator or Miss Pauling visits, a meeting room, a lunchroom/kitchen, a rec room, and a hall that leads to a few dorm rooms. Of course, there’s a locker room as well, for post training.
The common team uniform, worn mostly during training, is tiger striped-print loose clothing. For the acrobats they do, the team’s going to need light and loose styles. Typical team colors are green/black, or some combination of both, but during down times it’s not mandatory.
Team Echelon has a large weapons cache filled with all sorts of weapons: flame-throwers, knives, scatterguns, chainsaws, rocket launchers, anything from any of the Fortress classes. They won’t always use all the weapons they have, but they’re there, just in case.
With speed and acrobats being the main focus, Echelon will only take on mercenaries that can prove they’re good at what they do, and are willing to go through a lot of training to become better. Echelon is rather selective.

"BOYS! CURSED BE BOTH OF YOU!", the wizard exclaimed with his hands raised in the air as he prepared the spell to lay upon them. "I CURSE BOTH OF YOU.... WITH GREAT LOVE AND FORTUNE wait what??", all the drama had vanished him as he hastily pulled out an old and torn book, quickly looking through the pages. "How is this possible?? What did I do for this curse to turn into a blessing? Why??"
Phil, at first, flinched and leaned back, hiding his head and shoulders behind Spencer. He wasn’t expecting anything bad to happen, but where this stupid wizard was concerned, one could never be too careful. He only came out of hiding when he realized that Merasmus had completely messed up. He was also smirking.
Spencer, on the other hand, just stared, unimpressed at Merasmus. “You gotta work on your spells,” he said flatly. “Before you know it, everyone but you is gonna be happy. Then you’ll be all alone, because you won’t have th’same joy we all have.” He held up the peace sign. “This is your daily dose of inspiration, Team Echelon style.”
“Wait, wait wait,” Phil cut in. He held up both hands, making sure the attention was on him. “How much fortune do we get? Because let’s face it, I like being rich. One would say, I love it.” He grinned wider. “Thanks, Wizard!”
