-kankusai and gaalee (since you reblogged some stuff the other day and I liked it)
Send me a ship and I'll tell you:
~KankuSai~Who said “I love you” firstKankurou. Sai takes longer to get there, longer to be sure of what he's feeling and the proper words for it.
Who would have the other’s picture as their phone backgroundMmm, could be either. Both. Kankurou has a very candid unplanned poorly-framed shot that captured a serendipitous second of genuine happiness on Sai's face. Sai has an artistically-off-center casually posed pic of Kankurou taken specifically to be his phone background.
Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirrorKankurou. They're usually more like hearts and very simplistic dicks than words, though.
Who buys the other cheesy giftsKankurou, but not until Sai has developed enough socio-cultural awareness that he can appreciate their cheesiness. It's no fun if they're taken seriously.
Who initiated the first kissAny incidences of mistletoe aside...probably Kankurou.
Who kisses the other awake in the morningKankurou, if he wakes up first.
Who starts tickle fightsKankurou. Sai and his bared midriff are just so tempting , sometimes.
Who asks who if they can join the other in the showerWhen Sai visits Suna, they share most of the time as a habit of water conservation. Kankurou's shower is designed to accommodate showering in tandem. When Kankurou visits Konoha, they tend to keep in the habit but will generally take a little longer together as time allows.
Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunchWhen Kankurou's days off don't coincide with Sai's, he'll usually make lunch and take it to Sai, so it's more routine than surprise. Before Sai moves to Suna, if Kankurou is visiting Konoha and Sai is unable to take time off (but still working within he village), Kankurou will sometimes show up with lunch when he can arrange it.
Who was nervous and shy on the first dateShy is not a word for either of them. Whatever their first date might have been, Kankurou was a little nervous but pretty quickly at ease, and Sai was intent on taking in the experience and not making any egregious faux pas if he could help it.
Who kills/takes out the spidersEither/or. Not really a squeamish point for either of them.
Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunkKankurou. This happens more frequently at family gatherings than out in public. Temari thinks it's hilarious but also a Good Thing. Gaara just sort of smiles when his brother gets going. Sai is not so much fazed by the PDA-ness as he is quietly pleased that Kankurou will declare his emotions so freely.
~LeeGaa~Who said “I love you” firstLee, definitely.
Who would have the other’s picture as their phone backgroundLee. He's so proud of it too.
Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirrorLee, usually, simple little things like you always see carved into trees by childhood sweethearts in old stories and such. Sometimes Lee will write the 'Lee + Gaara' and then Gaara will add the heart around it.
Who buys the other cheesy giftsLee. Like. He's usually not even trying to be cheesy, but. It's Lee. Gaara is solemnly appreciative of the gifts regardless. Kankurou finds the whole thing fantastically entertaining.
Who initiated the first kissLee. Awkwardly but very sincerely.
Who kisses the other awake in the morningGaara, who tends to sleep less than the average person even without Shukaku.
Who starts tickle fightsGaara, on occasion. Mostly by virtue of his brother's example.
Who asks who if they can join the other in the showerSharing is fairly common practice in Suna. When not in Suna, Gaara often just joins without asking, mostly out of habit.
Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunchLee. It's often Kankurou's cooking, also; he and Lee tend to work in unspoken tandem to make sure Gaara is taking proper care of himself.
Who was nervous and shy on the first dateLee was nervous and a little manic; Gaara was...cautious, but it all worked out well enough by the end of the date that they were both willing to try it again.
Who kills/takes out the spidersGaara's sand.
Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunkLee. Gaara tends not to be a drinker. Lee rarely indulges to that point, either, but. There have been a couple gatherings where effusive public declarations were made.
