“Would you like to dance?” Marvin was standing before Jackie, offering a hand out while bending forward in a grandiose bow. Jackie just rolled his eyes as he took note of the music softly playing in the background; Marvin was definitely trying to induce a mood. 

“I’m not dressed for it,” Jackie asked. “This is too old fashioned for me.”

“Okay, fine.” Marvin straightened up and snapped his fingers. Almost instantly, the music changed to something more upbeat, and his clothes went back to a more casual look: a dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up, as opposed to the tux he’d just been wearing. “We’ll do things your way, Jackson. You’re impossible to woo sometimes. So stubborn, geeze.”

Jackie just kicked his leg out, hitting a surprised Marvin in the shin. “Oh shut up, you egotistical douche. You never had to try that hard with me. You should already know I’m ready for it.”
