Silly experiment since something clicked for TADC avatars: Ericka, Dipper, Ford, Lucy and Simon as TADC players!
1. Dipper is honestly one I had the clearest idea for from the start as a part of me REALLY wanted to play with the evil idea of making him a Sock puppet again since that seemed to be both the most TADC appropriate thing AND it plays on his trauma of being tricked and used by Bill. I ended up kinda tying in the Lamby Dance because he wants to be taken seriously as a grownup, so he ended up kind of a Lamb-Chopesque sock puppet. Tyrone of course is the name Dipper said he always wanted to have.
2. Stanford was the second obvious one since he also was a puppet of Bill's. I started out going for a Marionette like his image in Book Of Bill but ended up playing off Puppet Stan and the Dr. Pine AU from @aroace-get-out-of-my-face and @babyblankyerror in making him kind of a muppet monster thing. Sixer of course, I liked the idea that Stan gave him that name since while they'd forget their names...there's no way they're forgetting that nickname. It also ties back into Bill again, constantly being called what Bill called him.
3. Ericka was originally meant to be a soldier since her big issue is having bern treated like one by Abraham; stuck trying to follow impossibly high expectations and traditions to mold her into the perfect monster hunter in a long line, and being seen as nothing more than an evil homicidal killer. I kinda ended up kinda going with a cartoon band leader/Tin Toy-like thing though since that seemed to fit more the Circus-y toy-like vibe while communicating a similar idea. She also kinda ended up looking a hit Ragatha-esque with that Tintoy mouth which I kinda like. Goldie is from Ericka's association with the color and alot of band leaders and captains/soldiers wearing the color
4. As for Simon and Lucy: Simon's big thing is seeing himself as shy and timid and something of a disappointment. I ended up going with a rat which tied well into his nautical theme and "Bilge Rat." Hense the name Bilgey. For Lucy, I ended up going with her deal of being the latest in a long line of vampires and dhampirs and trying to find her own identity in that while breaking the usual conventions AND also kept the cartoon animal thing going with Simon/"Bilgey." So she's a somewhat cutesy cartoon anthro black vampire bat instead of her usual brown. Mina of course is what her name ALMOST was and another reference to the Dracula novel.
