We had the pleasure of drinking the Longrow red, Austrlian Shiraz Cask a couple of nights ago. Its a limited release, aged six years in bourbon casks, then finished for five years in an Australian shiraz cask. The peat was noticable as expected but very well balanced with rich berries and chocolate flavours. Dry and a bit of peat smoke at the end, but very relaxed.
