A senior FCC Commissioner urges the public to "make some noise."
Earlier this week, the FCC successfully defeated Mozilla's attempt to undo the commission's repeal of net neutrality. But, while siding with the body, judges have asked the FCC to determine if repealing the law to prevent a multi-speed internet has had any negative consequences. That includes checking if net neutrality repeal has harmed public safety, reduced spending in infrastructure or hampered the Lifeline program.
Consequently, the FCC will launch a period where the public and interested parties can share their views on the process. This is not an opportunity to re-litigate net neutrality repeal, but it is an opportunity to examine if the FCC acted properly and with regard to its broader obligations. The court, for instance, has directed the body to see if repeal has harmed public safety and reduced investment in critical infrastructure.
That may include references to the incident in which Verizon, Engadget's parent company, throttled the data plan of a vehicle owned by the Santa Clara fire service. According to Chief Anthony Bowden in a 2018 lawsuit, Verizon's throttling of the vehicle's plan hampered efforts to fight wildfires. Verizon said that in that instance, the throttling was the result of a mistake, and that its policy is to not throttle emergency teams.

It's not really a theory about Barry, but I keep going back to the shit pie from "Swim Instructors". Barry shit in a pie (killing Chris? Killing Moss? the monastery rampage?) and eventually he's gonna have to eat it. I haven't really fleshed out the metaphor, if someone else wants to take a shot at it.
Wow, right (btw it’s hilarious that a theory can be based on a shit pie, that can only happen with Barry)
So I also have multiple ideas:
as you said - killing Chris/Moss/other people and in the end he’ll be punished for that in later seasons
maybe if we are looking for something that’s resolved in season 2 - Barry vs. Sam? Barry wants to kill Sam because Sam was a violent piece of shit to Sally but Barry is the same, also the shit pie story is about two man fighting for the same woman so it kind of makes sense
Or as the story is also about two friends and one betrays the other, it may be about Barry and Fuches - Barry doesn’t want to kill any more people so he has to get rid of Fuches but then Fuches pisses him off and in order to kill Fuches, Barry kills like a million people in the monastery so he basically tricked himself (but this is kind of complicated, I like the Barry/Sam theory better)
or it’s possible that Bill and Alec just came up with the worst idea ever to make his audition and Sally and Gene’s jealousy funnier
Maybe we just have to wait for new seasons to see Barry “eat the shit pie”.
Side note: My prediction is that Barry will get the part in Swim Instructors despite the messed up audition - cuz he’s 6′2!!! even the woman at the audition table says that after Barry leaves. And it kind of makes sense together with my other predictions for season 3 which I will post later
I'm gonna start posting random vulgar pet peeve rants

is not fucking credit you lazy piece of shit pie
I love how autocorrect changes 'Ajit Pai' to 'shit pie'. Bless 🙏
FCC trying to kill $25 subsidy in urban areas and limit subsidy in rural areas.
A US appeals court has blocked the Federal Communications Commission's attempt to take a broadband subsidy away from Tribal areas.
The FCC decision, originally slated to take effect later this year, would have made it difficult or impossible for Tribal residents to obtain a $25-per-month Lifeline subsidy that reduces the cost of Internet or phone service for poor people. But on Friday, a court stayed the FCC decision pending appeal, saying that Tribal organizations and small wireless carriers are likely to win their case against the commission.
"Petitioners have demonstrated a likelihood of success on the merits of their arguments that the facilities-based and rural areas limitations contained in the Order are arbitrary and capricious," said the stay order issued by the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. "In particular, petitioners contend that the Federal Communications Commission failed to account for a lack of alternative service providers for many tribal customers."
The tribes and small carriers that sued the FCC "have shown a substantial risk that tribal populations will suffer widespread loss of vital telecommunications services absent a stay," the court said. The FCC hasn't proven that its plan won't result in "mass disconnection," the court also said.
The court ruling was welcomed by the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe and Oceti Sakowin Tribal Utility Authority, which are among the groups suing the FCC. Several small carriers and the non-profit National Lifeline Association are also plaintiffs in the lawsuit.
"Our people have long suffered from flawed federal government policies and actions, so the Court's decision... is an important step in righting past injustices and allowing residents of Tribal lands to obtain critical Lifeline services," Oceti Sakowin Tribal Utility Authority Executive Director Joe RedCloud said in a statement distributed to media. Swanson 2020.
Ron Swanson has no time for Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai and his bid to repeal net neutrality.
Swanson, the lovable curmudgeon from NBC’s “Parks and Recreation,” is no fan of public officials who misuse their power. So Nick Offerman, the actor who plays Swanson, offered up a few choice words for Pai on Thursday.
Apparently, Pai is a fan of Swanson and the show, and showed off a signed “Ron Swanson Pyramid of Greatness” poster in a segment for Vice News. Offerman said this “felt strange” to him, given Pai’s stance on net neutrality, so he “went to see Ron Swanson to ask if he’d care to weigh in.”
Offerman’s tweet included a screenshot of a text message, purportedly from Swanson.
“I’m flattered that my pyramid of greatness has inspired you,” says the text. “I will remind you that the top category is Honor. Sadly, based on your duplicitous handling of the net neutrality issue, and the way you are willfully ignoring the public you claim to serve, I feel you may need that term defined. Which means, of course, that you don’t have it.” (Continue reading)
Fight for the Future is dedicated to protecting and expanding the Internet's transformative power in our lives by creating civic campaigns that are engaging for millions of people.
FCC chairman Ajit Pai spoke at an event where he ranted about SB 822, the California bill that rebukes his repeal of net neutrality, which passed the state legislature with overwhelming bipartisan support.
It’s more than a bit ironic that Pai chose Maine to make his remarks as both its Senators, a Republican and an Independent, voted in May to overturn his resoundingly unpopular repeal of the FCC’s open Internet protections.
“No matter how hard he tries, Ajit Pai is just never going to convince a meaningful number of Internet users that letting Verizon, Comcast, and AT&T to censor the web and charge new fees is a good idea,” said Evan Greer, deputy director of Fight for the Future, “When Pai calls the California net neutrality bill the “most egregious” response to his repeal of net neutrality, the public knows to interpret that as “most badass.” Governor Jerry Brown shouldn’t let big telecoms or con artist bureaucrats like Ajit Pai push him around. He needs to sign SB 822 and set an example for the rest of the country.”
The fight over SB 822 has implications for the entire nation. Giant Internet service providers like AT&T and Comcast poured enormous amounts of money into lobbying efforts to stop the legislation. They’ve even been caught funding astroturffront groups, who targeted seniors with misleading robocalls, and ran outrageous Twitter ads generating tweets targeting California assembly members that look like they’re from real constituents. One of these groups, CALinnovates, even lies about its membership, claiming Uber is a partner when the company denies it. On Thursday, an investigative report revealed that AT&T’s top lobbyist in Sacramento is not properly registered as a lobbyist, raising ethics questions.
