when i think of all the things i could have learned from my grandparents and didn't bother to, all the data they gathered and would have been excited to pass along to me that i didn't think was valuable, i feel like a fuckin shit bag.

so you know, if you got grandparents who know how to do stuff, like grow orchids, or build wood furniture, or fix cars, or fish, or play music,... ask them to teach you, because when they're gone, that knowledge is gone, and there might be a video tutorial for it but there might not be, and even if there is, nothing beats someone showing you in person, hands on.
