Headcanon A: realistic
i think in the battle b/w her and vader she broke the floor to try and kill him not to try and save him - i dont think after her line “then i will avenge his death” she would try to keep vader alive, her years following the jedi orders collapse made her more practical and able to keep her sentiment towards anakin outside of her decision making. I do think she was willing to die in order to kill vader, thats why she looked back and saw the pillar collapsing (theres a post about this that explains this a lot better than i did)
Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious
ahsoka comes back in ep 9 and kicks kyle rons ass (a pretty common hc honestly) shes old by now and just 1000% done with all the skywalker bullshit - she just wants to relax on a farm in peace w/ morai and kaeden and all this first 0rder/ sn0ke/ kyl0 nonsense is ruining her retirement so she saves the universe AGAIN
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends
I like to think that when Vader/Anakin was redeemed, the force bond between him and ahsoka came back just for a second right before he died, so Ahsoka felt him die (for the second time) - she doesn’t know if she should be sad or relieved
Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.
sadly its only unrealistic b/c the homophobia of star wars but I like to imagine ahsoka is married to kaeden and they are like a badass power couple in the rebellion. she, kaeden, and morai live quietly on a small farm after the war ends
