It's not limited to interacting with a specific keyword though, and it wouldn't force the creation of any other cards, and it's a functional card without the effect. It's about as parasitic as Angry Chicken, which I think we can all agree is stellar A+ design.
I don’t agree with the Angry Chicken comparison at all. Angry Chicken’s ability functions with every single card that increases its Health. The Spider’s ability relies solely on two very specific cards, that both use an effect that may never be put other cards again. That is precisely why it’s parasitic and poor design.
