The desire to have a best friend but the struggle to actually emotionally connect with people is so fun and silly yay!
#people always talk about not having their feelings reciprocated by someone else#but it also blows when someone clearly likes you and wants to be closer to you but you don’t feel the same#and it’s not that I don’t like them or want to be their friend#because I do and I make conscious efforts to engage with them#but spending time with them doesn’t feel like a natural desire with any emotional weight to it#and at the same time I feel lonely as fuck despite having multiple people I talk to regularly#because I don’t feel emotionally connected#BUT ALSO in the rare instance I do connect with someone I struggle to open up to them because I care about impressing them#or making a fool out of myself#so I STILL FEEL DRY AND DULL#shits whack#puders speaks
