iOS 10 is such shit I'm pissed
How awesome would it be if Razer Synapse DIDN'T crash every time I wanted to switch keymaps? It would be amazing.
Another example of koala tea Apple software:
So, my dad got a new iPhone, and I was helping him set everything up. It was fine until he wanted to transfer songs from his iTunes onto his phone. I updated iTunes on his computer and plugged in his phone. New device, so, it was like... Whatchuu wan' do. New, or Gorby (what he named his iTunes/iPod/whatever). So I picked Gorby.
CONTACTS WIPED.
After talking with tech support, turns out what that did was completely restore his device (which I did not realize, since his other info was still on the phone, plus the apps he had downloaded, uh... ). And since iPods do not have contacts, it wiped his contacts in this restore. So yeah, kind of my fault for selecting that, but the way iTunes made it look was that "Gorby's" songs would be transferred to the new device. But whether I did it or not, I still have to wonder...
WHY IS THIS EVEN A POSSIBILITY, APPLE?
If iPods don't have contacts, then shouldn't it just NOT TOUCH THE CONTACT LIST? Why does restoring songs COMPLETELY FUCK UP YOUR PHONE? And if it totally wiped/restored the device, then WHY is his other data still untouched? I mean, sure, NOW I understand that a plain ol' synchronization would have been much, MUCH better, but how could I have foreseen that a MEDIA PLAYER would fuck up CONTACTS on a PHONE?
So mad I could kill Steve Jobs.
Oh, wait...
