Fever…feels weird
NO VERSION OF HEA.THERS IS CANON ANYMORE .
Hi how are you today Na
Not good.
Shitty.
i wanna’ make it clear before tonight’s episode of the walking dead that that show was once my everything , it’s fandom were my family , it gave me inspiration about family and human nature : and now it’s nothing . the writing is terrible , they’re killing off the show’s future , and ruining Kirkman’s material . and worse than that they treat their cast members like shit . i won’t be watching . i won’t be giving them anything . they’ve made their shitty decisions , let it end .
~
Me: tired as hell
Brain: heck yeah poetry time
Winner.
'crying alone in a ballroom with melancholic spirits’ + royalty ig + angst, angst, angst + nothing but angst + a desperate writer is an odd thing + n e way, here it goes
Prompt.
I am not crying, I think. I demand. How far will my cruelty ascend? Betraying them, taking what’s rightfully theirs, and murdering them- pity is a cruel afterthought.
But the tears don’t stop. The sobs- hollow and mouthful and gasping - don’t stop.
The ballroom where we danced - light fingered and close, breathing each other in, the world of gossamer and hidden agendas blissfully ignored as everything about you, your eyes, your gaze, your lips, your skin drew me in - its empty and cold now. The polished marble and the intricate statutes. They haunt into drear. Rain splatters against the windows.
I am not crying.
I am not.
After all, a villain deserves no tears.
But why, my chest screamed in its maw. My heart, blackened and burnt and raw. Why did you cry for me?
When I was the one, seated in your golden, gilded throne, ordered your execution?
When I- covered in black lace - lips flattened, then crushed under teeth when I sensed my weakness, my weakness for you, threatening my achievement. My goal.
I sentenced you to die, stole everything from you, and you had cried for me. For what I had become.
And now I am alone, at where we first danced, won everything I could, and crying.
But I don’t know if it is for you.
Or if it is for me too.
