The man, or the beast?
Monk didn’t like this feeling he got every now and again, the senseless feeling of aggression, like blind rage seeping into his head and shutting down every other sense.
The worst part of it though, was that it always came out of the blue, without prior warning and almost always right after he woke up after a particularly nasty nightmare.
So far he had been napping quietly in the corner, dreaming of... Feelings. Images, sounds, though none of it made any sense. Jumping awake from his nightmare, everything looked like it was covered in fog, every person around looking like fog monsters... So he sought out the closest one facing him and stood up, snarling, baring his claws as his forearms turned black and cracked... The heat making the air shiver around him.
To the outside observer he looked like he was drugged, or drunk... And about to jump whoever it was he was facing blindly. Monk might be small, but he was dangerous nonetheless.
